Mira is currently a fourth year resident in radiation oncology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She completed her undergraduate work in South Asian studies at Northwestern University after which she helped to conduct cancer patient health-related quality of life research and taught preschool in northern Chicago. Her medical education was completed at Stritch School of Medicine, Loyola University.
Mira sits on the Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology (ARRO) board through which she is involved in the global health subcommittee.
